Mike's research interests include secure VLSI design automation, developing algorithms for secure communication originating in streaming and pseudo-streaming data sources (e.g. IoT, autonomous vehicles) while also developing authentic cyber learning experiences for K-20 students.

Shaya Wolf is a PhD student in the CEDAR lab and an intern at Idaho National Lab. Her main research revolves around the security of machine learning algorithms and constructing security boundaries based on exploratory analysis of different types of data. She is also researching distributed systems/algorithms for lightweight agents, privacy-preserving continuous authentication schemes, and side channel attacks against non-traditional targets.
